Description
American Tableau, is a work the is a reflection or even musical translation of the deep emotions and feelings that have been present in contemporary America. Not just over the past 10 or so months but the history of America and the problems and challenges the people that have been discriminate against, whether of a matter of race, sex, or whatever it be have experienced in a society that is so very hypocritical of it’s beliefs and values. The work will have “America the beautiful” woven into the fabrics of the piece’s language that primarily is made up of a very chromatic language such as my other works. This Tableau was commissioned by Min Kwon for the America/Beautiful Project
